hahaha! dream-piper and I were at Barnes & Noble yesterday and found some Wreck-It Ralph tie-in books. I had seen the weird book version of Turbo here on Tumblr before we went and wanted to see if it was indeed for real. Apparently it is very real, but what we discovered is that the version of the book for older readers actually shows the normal 8-bit sprite of Turbo instead of…whatever the freak that other…thing….is. This being the case, we have come to the conclusion that the weird version of Turbo in the littler-kids’ book must be some kind of lame attempt at censoring Turbo’s creepiness……

but I’m here to tell ya! The “censored” version is more likely to give me nightmares than the normal version…
